Have you ever watched a butterfly struggle to unfold from its cocoon? I wonder if the caterpillar knows she is becoming a butterfly as she wraps herself in her cocoon to drift off into her wintersleep. Does she envision herself as the butterfly she will become, or does she spend all her dreamtime reliving all her caterpillar struggles, pains and sorrows?

Timo was born in Finland. In early 90's, in the midst of his deep depression, he learned there was an "inner life." Becoming deeply interested in learning more about himself, he moved to the United States to attend a university where daily meditation was part of the curriculum. Thrilled by the experience, he became a teacher in Transcendental Meditation® (TM) and taught it full-time for two years.

After getting his MBA, he got a channeling that changed his life forever. It revealed he was going to be a healer. The information struck him very deep as he had already noticed the skill to emerge. Intrigued, he browsed the internet for "energy healing" and came across Barbara Brennan's Hands of Light. Although TM training had taught him crucial information about the effects of stress in the human body, mind, and nervous system, it was Barbara's explanations on the human psychological defense mechanisms that made him feel that there was someone out there who knew how he felt inside.

Deeply motivated to know even more about himself, Timo attended Barbara Brennan School of Healing (BBSH) for two years. During that time, he also became familiar with Pathwork®, a highly regarded form of spiritual psychology that gave him even more information about the inner workings of the human psychology. Later, Timo also participated in their Transformation Program for one year.

At this point, Timo had acquired a deep understanding on how people keep themselves stuck in their past. However, it wasn't until he learned Emotional Freedom Techniques (EFT) and studied Louise Hay's work that allowed him to create big changes in peoples' lives. He developed a system that made laser-like focus into peoples' illnesses, problems, and life situations possible. He became a master at EFT and was known for his incredibly sharp intuition and channeled EFT sessions.

Despite being hugely successful with EFT, it wasn't enough. It became clear that the stuff from the past was sitting deeper in peoples' system than his tools could reach. The same went with his own stuff: He couldn't overcome his deepest issues no matter how hard he tried. So he knew something was missing.

While trying to enroll for the 3rd year at BBSH, he was having huge problems with finances. A reading with a trusted psychic revealed that he wasn't going to attend the school because something better was going to emerge. Being hugely doubtful of something better even existing, he continued his life, trying to make it to BBSH.

It was spring 2005 when he received the phone call that changed his life forever. A friend he met at BBSH started to talk to him about VortexHealing® Therapy, explaining that if one goes far enough in that training, they are guaranteed to wake up from their inner separation from the Wholeness of life. Then he mentioned the names of the people he knew personally to whom this had happened.

This was major news for Timo as he had already spent over 10 years in the very core of some of the most respected holistic healing and self-development techniques but had never met anyone who knew an awake being, not to mention meeting such people himself. And there was his friend, giving him names. Totally struck by the information, he visited VortexHealing.com and knew immediately it was the real deal.

Jessica was born in Berlin, Germany, has lived in Brazil and currently resides in the San Francisco Bay Area in California. She has studied Cultural Psychology and Medical Anthropology at UC Berkeley, and wrote her Doctoral Dissertation on Psychiatry, Spirit Possession and Religious Healing in Brazil.
